My Beatitudes by Jean Webb

Remember the Beatitudes, or the Sermon on the Mount (Blessed are the...)?

I've always struggled to understand it, so I thought I'd explore it by going back to the Greek. I've created my own interpretation, and you may or may not like it, but hopefully, if you take a look, it'll give you something to think about.

What I realised, as I put this together, was that we are given here a formula for happiness. It's not the formula I was expecting, and that's maybe what makes it feel so right.

I guess I don't like to be told things, I like to find them out for myself. This study challenges the traditional interpretation of the passage, but all I can say is it works for me.
